Membership
The Farstriders was once a team completely made by the High Elves, and the members survived in the natural disasters invasion of Quel’ Thalas had all become into the blood elves. Headquarter is set up in the Silvermoon City. Although they have been a part of the blood elf government, they are never regarded as the official soldiers. In charge of the guarding of Quel’ Thalas is only a small part of this Farstriders organization. This group of people will stop the war by any forms. The Farstriders have several lodges scattered across Lordaeron and Khaz Modan.
History and Organization
The Farstriders is small but special talented and skilled Ranger force. The history of this organization can be traced back to the Trolls War, when some scattered high elf warriors occasionally joint together to defend Quel’ Thalas. About five hundred years ago, a group of similar high elf fighters had been made, and officially named the organization as “Farstriders”. Their duty is to protect the remote Quel’ Thalas borders and the interests of the high elves in the whole Azeroth. The top commander of the Fartriders is given a unique title: the Ranger General of Silvermoon City.
As time goes by, the focus of the Fartriders has been changing. Today the Farstriders don’t usually leave their homeland. Now they are trying to recover that seriously plague-ruined plot in the south of Quel’ Thalas, where the natural disasters have invaded the most southern districts. Furthermore, the Farstriders are protecting the whole Eversong Forest, which is in the east of Quel’ Thalas and facing the threat from the Amani Trolls in Zul’Aman.
Beliefs and Practices
Due to the highly respects and reputations from the public, the Farstriders have been always regarded as the most brave and glorious elves for a long period. In fact, this is a reword to their long- term selfless dedication.
Since the bloody massacre launched by the Scourge in Quel'Thalas, the Farstriders have lose some optimistic spirit and confidence. Even so, they are nobly maintaining their role as protectors of elf society. May be out of the relationships with this land, the members of the Farstriders are stronger than the other blood elves wherever in spirits or mind.
They are all aware of one of the most important item in their mission: to find out and eliminate all evils. Their main focus is still at the homeland of Quel'Thalas, but they also occasionally venture abroad, carrying out surgical strikes where they feel their efforts will have the greatest effect.
